I caught a bit of an interview he was giving about his movie Happy Gilmore, about, I believe, an ex-hockey player who became a golfer.

He was talking about playing hockey when he was younger and one guy who was coming onto the ice to replace Sandler. He told Adam to 'watch #7'. Adam kept his eye on his teammate and #7 and, sure enough, his teammate 'high-sticked #7 across the throat and laid him flat on his back on the ice'.

Adam thought that was hilarious and was laughing during the interview.

I'd love to see someone take him across the throat with a hockey stick and see if he thinks it's still funny!

I had very little respect for the man before. I have even less respect for him now.

I only used the word 'humour' because I've heard from some people that 'humour' is supposed to be what he does for a living. Personally, I'm stumped for a word to describe it properly.

Adam Sandler, humour

are both examples of oxyMORONs.

Adam Sandler's comedy is based on acting like a 14 year old boy in order to entertain 14 year old boys and grown men who never stopped thinking like 14 year old boys.

It's pitiful that so many male comedians never manage to grow up.
