Would you have a date on Friday the 13th? And before your rational mind screams 'yes, of course': would you really?

I might be tempting fate this time 'round. (!)
 
I already am. Oddly, we're going to go watch girls take their clothes off.

I'm not superstitious. Friday the 13th is just another day to me. I know people who curl up in bed all day and don't move. I'm not one of them.

i don't put much stock in "friday the 13th" and even if i did i wouldn't let it get in the way of a date. not that anyone ever asks me out.

Considering that I scheduled major surgery to take place (and it did) on 11 September 2003 (two years after the Twin Towers and Pentagon), scheduling a date on Friday the 13th is a non-issue...
 
^ Well, Friday the 13th is traditionally a day of extreme bad luck, September 11th is the anniversary of something terrible. I don't think there's a belief that the latter date gives bad luck. :)

Of course, every few years I have barfdai on a Friday, 13th. So dating can't be worse.
 
Frankie and I are gonna have a great date. First we're gonna toss mirrors around, shattering them. Then we'll walk under a ladder as we head into the bathroom, where we'll shut the door and turn out the lights. We'll stand in front of the vanity mirror and say "Bloody Mary" five times in unison. After that, we'll open a couple umbrellas in the house and have a friends black cat walk across our path as we head out to have dinner at a nice restaurant (Frankie suggests Burger King!) and catch the new Friday the 13th film.

What do you think of that date?

Sorry, its a special night for us. After the movie we're gonna find a quiet place in the woods and wait for the psychos to find us... er... um... I mean enjoy each other's company.

Yes, of course. There I said it. I am not superstitious. My fate is not in the hands of my frail superstitions. Treanir, I have always stood in the face of such superstitions. I wore the number 13 as I starred as a highschool and college football quarterback, as well as a point guard in basketball, and then as a participant in track events. I am convinced it was just a number and I was proud to wear it and not once suffer any adversity that I could really cite as a cause and effect.

In fact Don and I are going to dinner and the theatre for Valentine's Day on Friday evening the 13th, and I had not given it one thought until this moment that it was "Friday, the 13th!" Willie and Frankie have their broken mirrors, black cats, and as far as I am concerned (ugh) dinner at Burger King. GL, I am on record, I want to go out with you, tell me where and when. Treanir, you are the one I really want to date, so get over the superstitions, for when you are with me there will be too much else to think about.
