  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

A date on Friday the 13th... would you do it?

Yeah, sure. We always do (at least 10% of the time), unless we get caught up in our backseat activities.

Hey hey hey, no backseat activities unless I'm present! Why do you think I agreed to this whole bait thing in the first place?

i got a date for Friday the 13th...to go see Friday the 13th. hopefully after, i'll be doing a little impaling of my own....

wow...i just realized how creepy that might sound. my bad.

If you're up for the easter special though.... *obligatory joke about eggs or bunnies* ;)

*adjust his suit jacket*

Hard to say....you know. Onwards and upwards....got a new sonic screwdriver to test out...don't know when I be back to this time period again. That's the life of a Time Lord! :p

Sorry, Frankie and I are not exhibitionists (especially when we're together).

I wouldn't mind being a test subject for your sonic screwdriver. And I'm sure you'll find your way back... you can't stay away. You always return to that little planet with its wonderful little humans.

Hmmm...But you already turned me down. I offered you a trip of a lifetime and in return I just asked to see a scary movie with you. :p

Besides it might not have worked out....look what might happen to use  (check clip)

My father always told me that he loved Friday the 13th because he always made his best and biggest business decisions on that day and they always turned out well.

I would have no problem going on a date that day if I did not already have plans to see a friend on her birthday on that evening.

Lol. Yes I have a date that night. And when I planned it I didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th. I don't know if he did or not but he didn't mention it to me. It's our second one so we'll see how it goes.

I have a date this Friday...with lots and lots of people...ok it's not a date it's my birthday and it's a party.

It will be grand.

Of course I would...every few years my birthday falls on a Friday anyway...I have to love Friday the 13th.

It's just a number. Nothing else.

I'm getting a complete physical that day, and not worried that the date would change anything.

i would if i could but i have to work too. i like friday the 13th. i almost was able to go though. and i would have gone to take someone to see the new friday the 13th movie

^ Well, Friday the 13th is traditionally a day of extreme bad luck, September 11th is the anniversary of something terrible. I don't think there's a belief that the latter date gives bad luck. :)

*grins* Glad you could make it.

True, dates like that or November 22 or December 7 (or, in UK, July 7) aren't considered to be superstitiously dangerous. However, when I told people about my schedule, there were three or four people who thought I was out of my mind scheduling on such a date, so scheduling on this type of anniversary seems to aruse superstitions in some people.

Oh, I kind of remember, too, that when they asked when I wanted to schedule it, a lot of soon-coming dates were filled, with Sept. 11 open, and I think they said something like "...but most people probably want to avoid that date." I said yeah, OK, go ahead...

I need to hear the details--how did everything go??? ( you can PM me the pics later. :D)

It was an excellent, almost romantic date. The moment I saw him at the station, I thought 'oh dear, the pictures did NOT lie'. We walked through The Hague, had dinner at a former gay bar then went back to his place, where we talked, kissed and cuddled the night away. No sex - we had agreed not to, though we had to restrain ourselves. Had breakfast the next morning and, since we had to take the same train, continued our conversations. It was almost too good to be true and we both want to see where this leads.

And for all the sordid* details, you know where to contact me! ;)

*sordidness may or may not have occurred.
