Well on the way to lunch in town actually.

I was on the bus, only the second time in months and i was following the 2 metre rule when some dick walking past me to get off the bus pretended to trip and fell into me, while removing his face from my lap he cupped his hand on my crotch, now for the life of me i don't know what got into me, usually i'd have let him continue but the Covid risks sprang first to my mind and i quickly told him to get the fuck off.

Hopefully he hasn't infected me, but anyway the point of this thread, and surely it must have one, is has anyone invaded your personal space deliberately during the pandemic, and what did you do about it ?

I had a woman in the supermarket, unmasked, stood right behind me, almost touching me.
I turned round, coughed (into my mask) and said 'Two metres!'
She moved back immediately

I had an old dear in the supermarket, this was when masks were optional but the two metre rule wasn't, kept getting right in my face telling me it was all a hoax, sadly you can't batter old dears.

I was waiting for my uber ride in the apartment lobby last month when a woman and her toddler son walked past me, as close as possible.
The little boy lost his balance, fell next to me and mom picked him up while coughing, without a mask.

Like an episode of a bad TV show!

A not-so-funny thing happened on the way to the Forum: I recently listened to a podcast on historical pandemics. The Antonine Plague, which lasted from 165 to 180 AD is now thought to have been measles, which is far more contagious than the coronavirus. It devastated the Roman Empire. Plague records in Han China indicate that it may have started there. It broke out again in the city of Rome 9 years later and is said to have killed 2,000 persons a day. The total death count is thought to be 5 million.

I cannot remember anyone doing that.

I've stared at anyone not wearing a mask. Some have pulled their masks back up in response.

On numerous occasions, I have walked out when I have observed the business knowingly allowing guests to enter unmasked.

I hate it when a person only covers their mouth and leaves their nose hanging out. I see it frequently.

I've never seen anyone not wear a mask in an indoor commercial space, as well as the sidewalks in commercial areas. On resendential streets is about 50-50. In those situations I keep a mask around my neck and only raise it when passing close to someone else, which is what many others do also. Compliance isn't an issue here.

I find that when I am shopping....and maybe it is because we are all masked....we seem to be back to leaning across one another or reaching in close to get something from the bins or shelves.

I don't think it is an intentional thing...just more of a 'back to normal' behaviour.

Hopefully you'll run into the guy on the bus again once this plague has passed?
