An explanation for my avoidance:

I'm afraid I'm not at the stage personally to go directly to sexual stuff yet, or at least certainly not within an hour. For that, it would likely take me weeks. What I would actually really want to do is just a lot of touching, stroking, petting, kissing, etc.

I'd be experiencing the feel of his skin, the aromas, the sounds, all of that sort of thing. I'd be concentrating on his chest, stomach, arms, neck. It couldn't really be described as sexual, more like sensual. I would in fact prefer that he was in underwear rather than naked for all this, as a matter of fact.
