I know chances are this thread will draw a lot of attacks. But screw it, attack away.

After years of minimum wage jobs, college, and more temp agency jobs, my partner has landed his first professional job (!)

He just graduated back in December, so it took him about 3 months to get it. They actually offered him a much higher salary than what he was asking for. :gogirl: Actually, what they're offering him is even higher than what I made when I first got my real job after college.

I certainly remember my first professional job after college. It meant the world to me. It means the world to him now. He and I are both overjoyed. The high is even better than cocaine! This really is a huge step forward for both of us.

I'm almost 7 years out of undergrad years and still trying to find a proper job.

I was going to. Even made reservation. But he insisted we wait. He's going to use his first paycheck to take us out.
