she is such a winner

I like the president but there was a big part of me that wanted her to be president.

she can still run.

Obama has not been a bad president, in spite of the recent hate directed towards him. I've been watching presidents for a while now, and I still have faith.

I always liked Hillary.
While she did lose out at her chance at being President, In the end she has come out much better for it.

No I'm gonna say that selecting Bush (twice) was worse.

I hate to correct you, but.........
The SCOTUS appointed Bush in 2000. The State of Ohio Republicans played with voting machines and came up with enough votes for Bush. He was not elected for anything. Oh, wait. You said selected.
My bad.

For a duplicitous bitch who thinks it's just fine to wipe out parts of our Constitution by using U.N. treaties, not bad.

But I wouldn't buy a used car from her. She sounds about as sincere as a a fox promising a hen he really isn't hungry.

I love Hillary.

I love her more. I have an 8"x10" glossy photo of her on my bulletin board. She's classy and intelligent and doing a great job.

That is a great message in the video. Let's hear it for Hillary.

She's not sincere enough? What do you expect from her? Should she not make the effort to make a video telling gay youth to hang in there just because she wouldn't sound sincere enough for your expectations?

This is a perfect example of how certain people will never be satisfied by the actions of another simply because they're of a different political persuasion.

She sounds like an eighth-grader reading from a script someone else wrote, except for a couple of times -- which are where I suspect she departed from the script.

:rotflmao:

You've been around here long enough to know better than that.

I'm saying she doesn't sound sincere, because she doesn't -- she sounds plastic. And she certainly can sound sincere; she did rather well at it frequently on the campaign trail. Though she managed it sometimes while telling some good lies, so maybe not sounding sincere is an indication she's more likely to be truthful?

Hillary actually has the nerve to try and pander to us for our votes after what Obama just did? Shameful.

You guys are assuming that Hillary's not sincere.

I think that assumption is both unfair and very probably untrue.

@Laika specifically: part of being a Democrat is having compassion, a human emotion that most often bewilders Republicans.

I don't think you'd understand.

I was expecting to hear something inspiring. What I heard was like a bland dead reading on a high school play tryout -- no assumptions involved.

In my experience, Democrats have little to no compassion -- they shove it off on government so they don't have to care, and on the bottom level, they regulate things so that the poor can't get out of poverty... which gives them votes, because they pretend they're going to do something about it.

Republicans, OTOH, are so all over the board they can't be defined -- like the guy near here who donates probably 10% of the local YMCA's operating budget and a quarter of the cost of the new pool (the Y here is combination health/fitness center, community center, day care)... but I doubt he's ever paid more than the minimum wage unless he absolutely had to. How do you categorize that?

I dont want to hear a word about it from a republican.

if they hadn't filibustered the bill in the senate a month ago, it wouldn't have come to this.

ridiculous bullshit

Hillary is a TOOL of the military-industrial complex. Sad, sad, sad - you guys are no better than the people who think Obama represented real "change."

Regardless of what else you think about her, it's a good thing to have one of the best known people in American politics telling gay kids that they are valued.

Period.

I voted for hillary in the primary and really wish she won over Obama. I still stand by that decision.

Just remember kiddies, she is basically 'one of us'. Lord knows she dabbled in Tribadism at Wellesley College.
