A New TV Channel

There's a new TV Channel from the folks at VICE.

It's called, "VICELAND", and it's an attempt to give traditional television a new lease on life. Cable subscriptions are falling fast and I'm curious if any of you guys would be interested in a new channel, assuming you are a current cable subscriber?

In our household we try to get rid of all the useless channels on our package already.

Cable has been a demonstration that after the tipping point that more does not mean better.

I went the website and was not impressed with shows they're running. So , no I wouldn't be interested.

How's old fashioned television suppose to survive with the target audience acting all intelligent and stuff?

Paying for content you don't watch makes the world go round, and throwing money away is fun . . .

I saw that viceland replaced H2 on slingTV but didn't know what it was.

So the trend of youtube channels replacing long serving tv networks continue. With Vice now taking History Channel's spot. Pop Culture TV replacing TV Guide Channel was the latest one before. I wouldn't be surprised to see Vevo replace MTV 2, or The Young Turks replace Msnbc. lol.

H2 changed to Vice. The History Channel is still there. From what I've seen, I probably won't be watching Vice.

Vice Magazine is so hit and miss as it is, I cant see this as being that great.

I cant see myself paying for anything of theirs any time soon. I don't even pay for drinks at their magazine launches as they got it in their head im a blogger and always give me vouchers when I go.

I saw a few of their commercials...

So far...nothing that makes me want to switch the channel.
