What city would you most prefer to have a Pacific Northwest JUB meet up in?

That's why when we met last June in Portland at Hobos, it was nice to be at a gay bar setting(it has a more quiet atmosphere than many of the locations in Portland)

No, Mount Vernon and the restaurant were fine (although it's a bit far for those coming from OR). I was just saying it's hard to find a truly gay-friendly establishment in such smaller towns.

My opinion is saturday march 24th in Seattle.

Okay I'm going to put 3-24 in ink on my calendar.

I LOVE doing it in Seattle, but we've had a lot of meet ups in Seattle, which is not so accomodating for those living in other areas. I'd love to hear from some of the non-King county residents to see where they want it. I'll go anywhere west of the Cascades.

edit: just for kicks I added a poll

Re: A Pacific NorthWest Meet: CURIOUS

What are these meetings comprised of?

I voted for Portland, only because I work weekends! I'l can arrange to have the 24th off if need be. I am open to anywhere in Western Wash. But Portland would be my first choice. I have March 24th on my calendar!!

I voted for western washington but I realized something strange - mentally I consider Portland as part of western washington!!

I almost did the same thing. :D

I won't be able to make the meet, unfortunately. I can't take the time off. Next time, maybe.

Ok, sounds like most are favorable to Portland! So how bout March 24th in Portland at Hobo's??

LOL - so Portland is part of western washington!! I knew it!!

Is that where we went before? That was fabulous!!

Hmmm, sounds good to me. Maybe I'll make a weekend out of it and drive down to Eugene to visit the 'rents on Sunday while I'm at it.

Did we say the city of Portland (located in Washington) won? I'm fine with that, but maybe we should wait like one more week to make sure everyone who wants to weigh in location has that opportunity. ?? Set a firm plan one week from today ...

Fun, laughter, a few drinks and dinner followed by a trip to the Crypt where you'll be amazed at the size of the Dildo I purchase. Then we head to a leather bar where we make fun of big breasted lip-stick lebeians and look at each others weiners or pink laced underwear from a recent trip to Victoria's Secret semi Annual Lingerie SALE.

I seem to recall that you can still cross the border by ship or land (not air) without a passport (bring your birth certificate or certificate of naturalization though), but definitely check the US State Department regulations. Of course, a passport makes things about 10 times easier these days though.

hmmm ... if it's gonna be in Portland, I might have to hitch a ride with someone from Washington. would really love to go being this is my first JUB meet.

portland and seattle are now tied at 4 votes each!! We need more people to answer in this poll. :D
