You under-estimate yourself, JB. I think you're smarter than anyone holding office in politics right now.

Aside from your drool-worthy posts in that other forum, I enjoy reading what's on your mind and how you debate those of different opinions. We need more people like you representing us.
 
^ Actually Kucinich is a Representative (and his female counterpart, Marcy Kaptur, who represents Toledo two hours to the west, is every bit as wonderful but not as visible).

JockBoy87's running mate shouldn't be "stolen" out of Congress, anyway, where we need to preserve all the good people we can.

Maybe a great Veep running mate would be JasunStrikesBack, Metta, or Rareboy, for different reasons.
 
nice.... :) But I'm waaaayyyy too shy to be a front person. I'm more of someone that is behind the scenes, offering advice and help. And that kind of position runs in my family history. One of my ancestors used to be the person that the Emperor of China used to go to for advise. Plus, I was born in England. I was born with US citizentship (dual citizen).

Back to topic. :) Twenty years ago, I doubt that Obama thought that he would be President today.

McCain politically survived affairs. Kennedy politically survived alcoholism.

Yes, congress is very slow to change. That is why we need good leaders in Congress to help push for change. That is where you come in. We need our government to change and it is the people in power that can make these changes. That is where you come in. :D
