The 'genius' president has decided that rocks thrown across the border will be considered serious weapons and the troops will open fire on them. (The people. Not the rocks.)

Unless my dates are screwed up and this is actually April 1st, I kid you not:

President Trump said Thursday that he hopes the military troops being deployed to the United States’ southwestern border will not have to fire upon any migrants attempting to enter the country through Mexico, but warned that if any rocks are thrown from across the border “we will consider that a firearm.”

“They want to throw rocks at our military, our military fights back,” Trump said. “I say, consider it a rifle.”

I believe he has every intention of ordering the troops to shoot to kill at the slightest provocation.
 
For centuries, military has been blindly following orders, even leading to mass murder of non-combatants. Does Trump truly believe that soldiers can be ordered to murder people for throwing stones? Seriously, what do you think?
 
Most of what he is saying is illegal. This is just a stunt to stir up his stupid-ass base followers who have no concept of the law.

Let me get a bucket of nice 4-5" round river rocks. You stand there and I will throw one at your face, after you come back to your senses you tell me then if a rock is a rock is a rock. If you were throwing rocks at me I would drop your ass. A single rock that hits in the right spot can incapacitate a person to the point they can no longer defend themselves.

Bullets can remove the threat altogether, and from a hell of a lot further away. How far can you throw a 5-inch river rock over the fence with any sort of accuracy? (HINT: The fence is up to 6 metres tall.) Common sense should tell you that the odds of hitting me are extremely slim unless you have river rocks which defy he laws of physics.

A rock can be a weapon, but it sure-as-hell isn't a rifle.

I'm all for locking down the border against that mass invasion... but using a rifle (likely an assault rifle, since we're talking military) against rocks is more than a bit extreme :eek: plus I'm not sure it'd even be legal to fire across the border.

Let me stand 18' above you and just drop them on your head then.

Go to any city in the world except probably for England and start throwing rocks at police officers and tell me what happens to you. You probably wont be able to because you were shot dead as you should be. I could throw a 3-6" rock well over 18 feet in the air, when it comes down it could split someones head wide open or worse.

Maybe we should give all the illegal a rifle so you will feel better about it when they get shot for projectiles coming at military and armed police.

According the the UN they seek asylum in the FIRST country they come to, not lets cross several countries to get to the one where the democrats will give us free shit to vote for them.
