A Single Man

If you have the time, please see "A Single Man" with Colin Firth.

He has been nominated for an Oscar, and with good reason. My partner and I saw it last week-end, and it was outstanding.

Great portrayal of a quiet, dedicated man whose life is changed by events beyond his control in the early 1960's, and how his life is impacted.

Julianne Moore is also a standout.

If you are in a committed relationship, or support those who are, this is a great 2 hours.

Unfortunately we don't have a cinema in my town so will catch it on DVD.

i think the blame for the poor showing is due to their mediocre ad campaign. i don't think there have been any t.v. commercials for the film.
