I'm realizing that I'll never associate sex exclusively with love and that while I'm dating the most monogamous guy I know (like more monog than 90% of my straight friends at this point), I could just as easily be in a relationship more open if I'd fallen for someone who isn't as wholesome.

The way I dealt with it is that I owned it..100%...still do. I don't pretend I am "glad" that I stopped being a slut. I am not upset about it either...I fucked as many guys as I could....and loved it most of the time....

It was what it was...and I refuse to buy into that bullshit that alot of people say "so glad I am not "out there" anymore". I never looked for love...it found me....tried to outrun it so I could fuck more guys but love happens and that is what it is too....

In my experience most monogamous people dislike the idea of their partner fucking other people. That's not to say the same monogamous people don't/won't cheat, but that isn't the same thing. Mixing relationship styles is tricky at best.

I have had that complaint on occasion. Comes 3-7 days after a generous few days o'people trying to figure out if I'm humorously homicidal or homicidaly humorous. Happily, they usually lean to the later conclusion.

You're supposed to be having that conversation with your partner(s) not snickering that someone else had different relationship rules than you do. After you've had conversations n'shit about general relationship views n'etiquette you usually know whether someone would consider whatever-the-fuck 'cheating behavior' - and whether or not you're doing it and trying to go "But there's no such thing as lieing by omission....". Or the 'x' amount of people don't consider 'w' cheating so even though I'm pretty sure my Beau considers the behavior right Despicable, what they don't know won't hurt 'em.....".
