Some places have Laws against spitting.

You should see if yours is one.
If not, then nothing you can really do about it except get a Law passed.
Of course you have to prove you are not trying to pass it because of Prejudiced/Racist reasons,
which will be fun to watch since that is probably why the Law is on the books in certain places.​

Being part of the older generation when one didn't spit in the street I do find the present day practice objectionable; blame football players for their influence on young people I have been told.

But this thread also has a racial side to it, ie. should their religious leanings have been mentioned at all?

When a take a second glance at a handsome man in the street he always seems to be spitting which automatically turns me off. Now that has no racial elements except for the fact I am attracted to young Arab men thus most of the men I see spitting are Arabs.

Now am I racially intolerant if I say I am always seeing Arabs spitting in the street; or, indeed, that they are one of my sexual preferences. Yet if I mention nothing of race won't you all assume that the boys I glance at are all white caucasians and isn't that a racial thought in itself?

I think the religious leanings of the woman are a big part of what makes it funny. A muslim woman in full burqa spitting on the streets. If it had been a Roman Catholic nun wearing a full habit and head covering, it would have been equally humorous. It's all about the absurdity of the image.

I was just reading Newt Gingrich might work with CNN on a remake of the highly successful show ( Crossfire )Might be fun to watch.Back to the new neighbors.They are turning out to be a real nuisance.We have heard that the bathtub has overflowed and ruined flooring in the house.(They are renting)We have several senior citizens that live alone,that are complaining about ringing doorbells and broken rose bushes.(Kids are not supervised)I asked about the spitting becaus I honestly thought it might have a muslim reason for doing it.She leaves her gobs in plain view on the sidewalk,and looks very angry when she spits.No cake for her! I don't think they will be here too long.

It might have a lot to do with where they were raised or where they were living and NOT with their religious views.
