I can see how this sort of thing might work in Switzerland. Everyone in Switzerland would expect it to be as you have said. But in America, for good or ill, publicity is almost like another currency. That may sound evil and sometimes it is. But there is so much potential commercial semiotics that could fill the air, that a sort of class-system/meritocracy has its reason for being. At the same time, this is far from a closed system. As we all know.
I appreciate your inputs in the forum and hope you will be able to remain active. But please do as Seth requests.

As the poster who reported this guy, I thought I'd point out a couple of things.
His spamming was obvious. It's not obvious to someone looking through his posts now, because the admin staff have hidden scores of his posts. But anyone visiting any of the porn forums approximately 48 hours ago would have seen that he was pushing his site in every thread that mentioned a photo or video or requested an ID of any kind. Most of these posts were not helpful at all, did nothing to provide any useful answer, and were clearly spam trying to direct traffic to his site. He even started a thread with the sole purpose of advertising his site.
His protestations of innocence and trying to be helpful to the contrary, he knows exactly what his is doing, as many posters in this thread have pointed out. In fact, he is still receiving free advertising and publicity from JUB as we speak, because his signature contains the name of his site without the ".com", and his posts are highly visible due to the controversy he's trying to create.

You have to be pretty dumb for the owner of the site to post a PM from you. And he posted it not to complain about the user, but to see if the other members could explain the policy better and help him out.

Sometimes it not a matter of unable to comprehend something, it is a matter of wanting to understand it. You were clear over and over. It is time to put this mishmash to rest. I know of no way to help someone so irrational to understand a rational argument when it is presented.

Do you have your own router and database? Because if so, you can especify through IP marking that only ads posted by you and the other adminintrator can pass. This means there are tags that can signal spam even when coming from board members.
P.S: Your board is extremely vulnerable to hacking. Your firewalls are not scaled properly.
