With the premiere of Bionic Woman setting out the 2nd most popular headline show the other night with an estimated audience of 14 Million, and Heroes on Monday night an a premiere of nearly 15 Million - the networks are proud of the instant hits. However, The CW is still struggling to find their notch in prime time. "Gossip Girl" a knockoff of the popular pre-teen novels, came in with a miserable 2.8/6 rating, with an audience of less than 1.9 million, not before falling this week, to 1.3/6.

"Dancing with the Stars" steals the show, with the biggest premiere of the week, with an outstanding audience of nearly 30 Million!!! Numbers, CSI, Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy, Back To You, and Til' Death all finish out the week with great results.

"Reaper" a new series from the CW has gotten mixed reviews, but people are already saying that the series will not make the Holiday season due to weak story lines and mild acting. It seems since the CW lost Charmed, Reba, Angel....it only seems Supernatural and Smallville keep the station running.

I have to admit that I enjoyed "Reaper". I had to watch it. It was directed by Kevin Smith. I hope others catch on. It's one of the better things the CW has put out in ages.

CW really does need to find its place. But they arnt hiring the right people to work for them. I say steal some of ABC's writers and get them to make some kick ass shows,

BUT as long as they still have my Supernatural, I am happy.

CW can't escape the WB Teen stigma. No one will take them series despite the fact they've had some genuinely good shows (Veronica Mars, Supernatural, Gilmore Girls). It's become the home of cult shows and they should just accept that and hold onto Reaper because that show was just made to grab a cult base.

Reaper's ratings came in, finally. It seems it had an "okay" premiere. 3.4/6. About 4 million people tuned it.

I hope that this season of Supernatural snd Smallville can help to get the CW out of its slump. And I hope they start doing something more with Gossip Girl. I like this show, I think they can just do...more.

Has anyone ever seen The Game? Is that not the worst show ever! I can't believe it hasn't been cancelled yet.

As long the CW doesn't cancel Gossip Girl the can do what ever they want.

I like Gossip Girl but i hope it gets canceled because it conflicts with 2 other shows in that time slot.

Has anyone ever seen The Game?

Its pretty bad but the football players are hot with their shirts off so i am not complaining.

Wha...Supernatural's still on?
I got bored after the first four episodes.

If the writing is subpar what makes it a good show LOL

The acting, and the guys. And the idea of the show is intriguing.

Well with Grey's dismal premier hopefully it's a sign that some people will be trawling around for good shows in the Thurs 9 timeslot...
I CAN'T WAIT until we get out of this god damned serialized drama/reality show period of TV history. ENOUGH of this crap. It's all the same. I want something that has some freaking character already!!!!!!!

but but but

wait till you see the CW's new show
Aliens in America

one of the worst shows i've ever seen

Well I'm glad Grey's had a dismal premiere(well it wasn't that bad.. it just didn't beat last years premiere.. still a HUGE audience). After that "happy negro" creator of Grey's decided to fire Isaiah Washington(she should know how hard it is for blacks in Hollywood). Although I will admit it was good seeing an African American writer do well on a white TV station, and the strong black characters that she had on the show.

The reality/serialized drama isn't going anywhere anytime soon.. ESPECIALLY reality tv shows.. they are DIRT cheap, and they get a decent audience. You don't have to worry about paying for some expensive show that will have a lower or the same EXACT audience as a reality show in that same timeslot. That also includes game shows as well.. one reason why American Gladiators is returning to network tv.

I viewed an article about how much shows are costing these networks.. and now I can see why they are sticking to reality shows. Expensive shows with not so good ratings, and not bringing in the ad dollars.

I love girlfriends from the cw. I dont believe it will be on for another season after this one but i still like it
