Which accents do you like?
Do you have an accent?

Personally, I find that heavy Texan or New Jersey accents on guys multiplies their attractiveness. The same happens for girls when they have Irish or Australian accents.

As for whether or not I have one.. I've lived in Texas my whole life and so I'm sure that I have at least some Texas drawl, but I don't think that it as heavy as some my relatives and friends have it.

BONUS: a seemingly attractive male with a great Texas drawl

I love me an Irish accent, Canadian, GL's Texan lilt, Italian and I'm a sucker for an Aussie. Oh, and I crumble when I hear some Polish guys speaking English.

Yeah I have a lil bit of a french accent ;)

Crap I forgot about Russian accents.. Only in small doses though. In big doses, it makes me think of action movie villains.

I used to think I had a good old Midwestern accent. But now when I talk to anyone I know back in Chicago, they say I've become a southern boy.

All I know is I still pronounce my "s"es heavily but also say "y'all" sometimes. :p

I love accents. I seem to be surrounded by them. In my own household, there are Greek, Romanian and German accents. My secretary is from Sweden and when we are out together we get mistaken for siblings (must be the blonde hair?). I often get asked why my sister still has her accent and I do not. I usually reply in Norwegian. Only Scandinavians get the joke.

My Castillian is pure and perfect like the most ethereal and unsullied ideal; my English ranges from just funny to ridiculous; with a bit of effort, my French and Catalan have no traces of any accent whatsoever (otherwise cf. English); the rest...

Mind you, "having no accent" means that your accent (we all have one like water has taste) is no similar to any accent listed, or simply that it conforms to the "perfect ideal norm" of a given language...

Of course, in a language as anarchic as English it's normal to develop an hypersensitivity to accents since the norm is being unable to speak the language properly.

I like the Northern, sort of Yorkshire accent, Irish, Italian and some American accents.

My accent is like a Birmingham accent, but not so broad.

A nice Aussie accent just kills me--just the interview in a porn video of one of those guys is enough for me.

Neither do I, eh? ;)

Wanna wrap your ears around an accent? Try this Newfie accent commercial. (It has subtitles ..|)

Is there a COMPLETE transcription of the Newfie speech in that commercial that could be shared with us?

A lot of people where I grew up have thick Southern drawls, but I don't really have one. Except when I get excited or mad!

I really like Aussie accents, though.

EDIT: ok, is this really TOTALLY ACCURATE? ...How's ya getting on me son? She was born and bred back home eh. Called the Nissan X-trail Bonavista. Take a gander at that Pana Roof budday, if that don't put a gust in your spinnaker i don't know what would. And look at the wheels on 'er, got enough alloy in there to fill a bucket. Ya got the climate control on the inside in case you gots the mudder-in-law with ya...

I have a brummy accent, had a few people compliment me on it recently saying I have a sexy voice! I love the australian accent, its so hot!

I wasn't aware that a "posh" Welsh accent existed, but apparently I have one...

I personally love the accents of the North of England; Lancashire and Yorkshire, in particular. There's just a warmth and a humour to these accents that really speaks to me as a Welshman.

As far as American accents are concerned: I love the rather yappy, sassy brogues of New England and the various languidly-lilting, drowsily-drawling accents of the Deep South; especially those that are native to Louisiana; a state that seems to have a colourful diversity of accents which are nevertheless indelibly Southern.
