And yes, Dink will keep on making money off his racist clientele, and no, there's nothing we can do about it except not patronize his site ourselves. And, of course, tell others.

It's also ironic that Dink, who told me a while back that he'd stopped doing bareback videos because of the bad example they set for young, impressionable gays, is quite willing to set a poor example about racism. I was going to say "hypocritical," but I can't accuse Dink of that because he doesn't believe "racial pride" (that is, white supremacist racism) is wrong, as you can see from the post at #9 on this thread.

In fact, I was clinging to the belief that he was a decent person in a tight position (Axl being very popular, probably already paid for several videos...leaving Dink in a financial bind if he didn't put them up) until this thread. His AMEN to a blatantly racist comment dashed those hopes.

Oddly enough, even though I disagreed with him about the corrupting nature of bareback videos, I respected his decision back then, because it seemed to come from honest conscience. It persuaded me that Dink was a good guy, even though I disagreed with him.

I'm surprised that this actually hurts. I thought I was way more cynical than that.

That said, I am flabbergasted at how much attention this is getting when there are humongously bigger fish to fry on the civil liberties front. Having Axl and his obnoxious tattoos on a website only some self-selected gays will visit is supremely (no pun intended) insignificant compared to the open hate-mongering that currently occurs in the US, with some very vocal and powerful -- and potentially powerful -- people continuously and openly fanning the flames. Let's focus our efforts where they're really needed instead of intensely obsessing over what a little, way-past-its-prime porn site chooses to do. Even if Dink was convinced to banish Axl -- which isn't likely -- that would be an insignificant victory in the overall mission of fighting hate.

I was referring to the ones who are such big fans of Axl...some of whom, I'll warrant, are fans of him BECAUSE of his Aryan Brotherhood associations. You're right in that I should have been more specific.

I don't think ALL your members are racist. The ones who know what Axl's tatts mean and continue to be his fans are racists.
