Active Duty update thread
With all the active guys doing vids on several military sites, it would seem the military doesn't care about it as much as we might think. All they'd have to do is get online and they'd see these guys, so it apparently isn't a priority.

Some time ago Dink said Dean was still around and was getting some personal issues in order before he made more vids. Nothing more has ever been mentioned about him though.

Right now I have a crush on Dorian. He looks like the stereotypical soldier, so stern and masculine looking. Then he's making out with a guy and on his back with his legs in the air. Who'd have thought!!
 
From a quick google search, it looks like the guys who hit the headlines were Jagger, Donnie and Clint (yeah... Jagger of the scene with Chaz and Dean and the infamous (yet?) "give it to me papi . . . you sexy man-beast!" in Fire In The Hole).

I'm wondering if the whole episode was more the efforts of their platoon leader informing their company commander who apparently spent a Saturday night printed up screenshots from the videos and started the ball rolling and the whole thing just steamrolled into a scandal. Why the hell he, and not any of the other company commanders of the pornguys, decided to go along with this spectacle is beyond me unless he's one of those idiot gung-ho, race-right-into-the-wall types who can't think or see beyond the glow of their rightgeous halos. There must have been a lot more discrete ways of handling the situation that didn't manage to get your unit in newspaper and TV news headlines around the world and drag your subordinates (your *subordinates*, fer Chrissakes) into the withering limelight.

It's pretty easy to make educated guesses who the other seven or nine paratroopers involved were.

I really don't want to see guys who are going to have 'personal issues' flare up or created because they come back to Active Duty. It's just not worth it. Even if this means never seeing Dean or Shane again (God, I just mentally gagged typing that. But I'll stand by that sentiment).

Jesus, Chaz is a blue-eyed pretty man freak, isn't he... . There's, like, what, two full days-worth of live shows he's done so far? He's becoming rather addictive.

This whole freaking weekend's become a haze of ice packs, ibuprophen, bad food, heating pads, laying in bed and watching Chaz, Ken, Dean and Shane (and watching scene two of Summer Recruits 2 with Dion, Kasey and Gage).

Jesus, Tuesday better get here soon so I can hobble off to work and life can return to normal.

I know "Jack" just had a kid and got married again. He was married before, so that's not a big deal.

I'm sure he's still keeping a double life -- friend was hit on him hard at a gay bar in Hillcrest many years ago.

I can buy that a few might have a preference for women in varying degrees. That's not hard to swallow.

I recall Dink saying something about the guys he ends up getting his hands on are usually the ones that have always wanted to try gay sex to begin with or something like that.

I think they end up liking it more than they thought and more likely continue with it after the cameras are off--at Dink's house or elsewhere.

I believe Dink didn't want to give the idea to gay youth watching his films that it would be okay to engage in activities without knowing the risks. THat and I imagine many of the models themselves may have asked for it.
