So I apologized to a coworker's husband last night, even though I really didn't mean it. I was "sorry" for saying "You're an asshole, but I'd still suck your dick."

He is an asshole, I'd still suck his dick.

But because she insisted I apologized to smooth things over, I did apologize. But like a typical frat boy, he accepted my apology and said it wasn't a big deal. Even though I really know I freaked him out.

Is a worthless sorry better than not apologizing? I'm so confused. And still would suck his dick.

Were you sorry about calling him an asshole, or sorry about telling him that you'd suck his dick?

You've already apologised. Whether it was sincere or not, sleep over it.:)

I think about what I would prefer. I would far prefer agreeing to disagree than to be the recipient of an insincere apology.
