AdultFriendFinder is it worth it?

Hey guys, have any of you tried AdultFriendFinder to hook up/meet other guys? I'm having a hard time finding guys into the same stuff I'm into; mainly porn and DIY porn. On Grindr it's the same 9 picless profiles and on Gay411 not much is happening.

I find that on hookup sites these guys list off these grocery lists of what guys are looking for. I'm essentially just looking for guys into smoking some pot, watching porn and fucking. I guess I'm looking for a site that more unapologetically about sex for sex. Are there more sex-centric sites where guys actually want to have sex than just dirty talk?

From what I've heard, AdultFriendFinder is suffering from the same problem as many of these sites: sex workers and scam artists. There's been quite a few complaints that I've read about blackmailers using the site to record video chats and then extort money from members.

The apps are also evolving and every city seems to have it's own crowd that have taken over them. In come cities in the US, Grindr is now all sex workers and trans people while the gay men have moved to more fetish oriented sites like Sniffies and Scruff.

Probably the best thing to do is ask around in your city/neighborhood to find out which app is popular in your locale.

I tried a lot sites/apps to meet people and these days there are way too many options. All of them have people looking for money, spam or time wasters. I learned not to bother with some where there on cause there bored or married but they don't know what they want. My experience, I had more luck using sniffies to meet people that are serious. when I would look on there I would block anonymous/blank profiles. Once I saw they don't have a registered profile, not filled out their profile or added any pics, they will disappear from the site and are probably not serious about meeting.

I used Adam 4 Adam which is hit or miss. I had a lot of spam, scams or guys they lived so far away.I found another app called taimi but haven't given a serious effort.

Anyway, I seen a lot of profiles on sniffies that post guys wanting to hangout smoke and get off together. I'm sure you will find someone. Good luck.

Hey man, yeah so in my neck of the woods, Grindr is nothing but closeted married guys, which cannot stand as I find the sex with really boring and they tend to look for quickies, which I'm not all that into. Or else as you say a bunch of sex workers pushing me to go see their pics on some random site... so I tried AdultFriendFinder but didn't last past the same day because... I kept getting messages from women. This is the other thing that's starting to piss me off about Grindr. I'm getting messages from women. Like, what the fuck is up with that? I know there are gay men with a straight man fetish -I'm not one of them, I like the people I have sex with to be present and enjoy it- but chicks on Grindr is getting ridiculous. Anyway, I deleted AFF because all I was getting messaged by was women, and then if I wanted to communicate with a guy I had to pay. I ain't doing that. I haven't heard of Sniffies, but I'd be down. Is it mainly sex, or is guys looking for prince charming with a grocery list of attributes they demand to see before talking to you?

That's what I expect from AFF.
I can believe that cause when I use to be on Grindr there would be trans women and started seeing on sniffies. I always have a feeling they are escorts. There would also be men posting pics that they give massages and others saying looking for generous men but they say g3n to avoid being censored.
Oh yeah and a heads up if you check out sniffies and completely uncensored. You will mostly see profile pics of dicks and probably what you don't want to see. But they did add a feature to hide pictures. And you will find a lot of fetish, kink guys that have very few limits. They got a lot better at blocking spam. That's why I remember I left Grindr.
And my experience being with a married man. It depends on the guy. I was with a guy that was in a relationship and haven't had any sex in years. He was versatile and like to have sex for hours even.
On any site you will find guys that are horny as fuck and don't care what you look like and will have sex raw not knowing your health. That's mostly anonymous and users that haven't filled out their profile. A few can be guys that actually have face pics and aren't picky.
Then there people that have a type of what there looking for.
What works for me is only meet in person if your 100% comfortable and don't think they are wasting your time. I message someone and get to know them, some maybe a couple days or longer. You can even do video calls on sniffies for free which is great to have some fun or chat.
I never done it but been asked, to meet at a bar/cafe to talk and see if your a match.
