Seriously though, are there still places without power/heat, or have they got most everyone back on line?

What about the homeless shelters? Are they filled to capacity? Are they able to round up/find the stranded/unaware homeless?
 
I know the weather is what it is, but I'm already sick of this shit too. 6 inches of snow, now driving rain, 50mph wind gusts and it's not even winter yet.
So how is it in Oz this time of year? :-)

yes, there are a lot of places out here without power. this just backlogs everything. the homeless are pretty much on theit own and have been before the storm.

The stuggle is real. Mother Nature is acting up and we just letting her lol.
 
Yeah, the weather the East Coast is getting sucks. It is too bad that we as a nation and the world in general has ignored the climate for so long. I hope that everyone stays safe and that everything is back to normal soon.

Besides, we are going to need to power crews from the Northwest back before Winter.
 
I dread to think what would happen if a hurricane were to hit any of the coastal towns near me ... Weston, Clevedon, Portishead, etc ... it would probably cause several millions of pounds worth of improvements overnight.
