Al Sharpton OUTRAGED about the Paris Hilton release....

Where was Sharptons' outrage when Diana Ross got a deal similar to Paris'?.
Sharptons' comments are "increasingly irrelevant" (to borrow a current buzz phrase) to both black and white people.

Oh God you americans are so racist... Why does this bitch gets released, and that other famous bitch (Lil´Kim) did her time?

Racists

It's all about the green people.. Sadly, I can't help but think if the tables were turned, a person of color wouldn't have been released so easily..

Please. Then explain all of the reduced sentences for rap artists. Poor black people would have gotten decades for some of those crimes that rap/hip hop stars have been serving months for.

Paris Hilton is one, very specific person. She doesn't make a trend...all the rest of the white celebrities do their time. Sharpton is just out of touch...

There are any number of white rich celebrities who get off, and poor black nobodies who don't. But you'd best be prepared to answer for the data that doesn't fit your hypothesis - the Daryl Strawberries and the OJ Simpsons and the Martha Stewarts. Is there racism in this country? Damn straight there is. But if you start rubberstamping every event as a "race-based" thing, those claims are going to start a lot like crying wolf.

If Paris were black I'm sure Sharpton would have been very happy and deserved to be excused from prison.

Its nothing to do with colour.

All this has shown is that if you have money/a celebrity you can work the system to your advantage.

We all know Paris' 'cell' wouldn't be too bad as well.

Guess Al has to get his fat "outraged" ass back home now.
There will be other headlines to seek and ambulances to chase.
Between Tawana, the Dukies and Paris Hilton, he better get a new Ouija board when selecting which causes to get outraged about.

Leave it to one of the biggest racists on the planet to turn this into a race issue.

What a windbag.

I agree the fact that she was let go is a joke - and three cheers to the judge that threw her hairless white ass back in - but as Lex said - this wasn't about black or white, it was about green.
