I don't think a nobel literature laurete is capable of being so shallow.

It doesn't matter what HE meant by it, necessarily, so much as how it's used in the hands of others. Even you used it to say that some guy you saw in porn would make a good boyfriend. That's certainly circling shallow waters, if not diving directly in.

All I can say is you're probably in line for at least one brutal heartache in your life. Caused by somebody who had such an honest, caring face. Who ended up being a first-degree asshole or cheater.

I'm not saying the guy at the top of the page is an asshole. Maybe he IS the perfect boyfriend. But I'm saying you can't tell. Not from that photo, and not from any number of photos. Because honesty and tenderness and whatnot aren't etched onto the face. One guy might "look honest", but that just means "his face makes me inclined to trust him". That doesn't necessarily make them honest or trustworthy, though.
