Anyone else watching this? I just saw the first 2 hour episode just now. I completely forgot about it until my friend started raving about it on Google+. I thought it was pretty interesting and weird.

I've also only seen the first 2 hours. It was ok, I guess. Haven't seen this week's episode yet. Another JJ Abrams serial attempting to hook us with weird shit that may not ever be explained. Not so sure it will work again.

You didn't miss anything. Those mysteries are the premise of the show. This is a JJ Abrams show, so don't hold your breath waiting for answers.

Not likely. They will likely have brief appearances in the prison (prisons). But it is obvious at this point the format of the show focuses on a different prisoner each episode. At least the first three were all sorta hot, though.

Good point, I also can't wait to find out more about that doctor who was given one the dead prisoner and what he is up to. Very creepy dude.

He was the same doctor from Alcatraz island. Like the prisoners, he didn't age (as evident by his old record player from the 60's).

Btw, I'm happy to hear that Fox has extended Alcatraz's run. But I find it odd that I am starting to become more interested in the prisoners than the actual regular cast members. Well, except for Dr. Lucy Banerjee. Awkward.

Actually, I think the hairstyles of the star criminals while shown in prison is all wrong. They always look too modern, and just to neat for prisoners in Alcatraz. I doubt the Alcatraz barber's job was to make all the prisoners look like models.
