Autolycus, I don't know if it is a good idea for him to have that extra pair of hands. He probably would not get much written... :p

An extra pair of hands would be useful, especially if they are someone else's. That way, I would not have to stop writing in order to... you know...

By the way, I'm working on a new story. I don't know how I'm going to keep three stories updated, but I have to write that one. The new one will not be a fantasy story, because it seems to me that people here don't like fantasy stories very much. Although it will be fictional, it will be more down-to-earth than my current stories.

This story is temporarily on hold, until I finish Chapter 7 of "The God Who Loved Us" which should be posted tomorrow.

However, I want to ask you something. Do you still find this story interesting? I've noticed that the number of views has decayed since I posted Part X: it seems that I shouldn't have introduced the fantasy aspect. The same happens with "The God Who Loved Us", which was fantasy-oriented from the beginning: after six chapters and three months online it hasn't reached 3,000 views yet (say, 500 views per chapter, or 1,000 views per month... it isn't precisely the most read story here)

I've begun writing "Green Eyes" as a test on this, and the results were as expected. "Green Eyes", my only down-to-earth story, has become the most popular of my works, if we consider that it has been online for only one week.

So, now, more than ever, I appreciate your feedback, both by posting here or by PM.

As you may know, I plan a major twist for Part XV of this story. That's why it has been delayed so much. I like introducing twists, so that my story has some action and doesn't become an overlong soap opera.

However, I had the bad experience of losing a lot of readers when I introduced the first twist in Part X. So, this time I want to know your opinion before I post the final Part XV.

The first preview version of the next installment of this story has just been e-mailed to two members of this forum. Those interested in reading that preview version are welcome to request it via PM.

I need to know what do you think of the course the story would take if that preview version becomes [the first part of] the final release. More than ever, I appreciate your opinion, even if you don't like it. So, I'll wait for your PM's.

However, I want to explicitly state that the preview version is NOT the final version (that's why it's a PREVIEW), and it may be completely rewritten if you don't like it.

The lack of responses to my “Community Preview” proves that there are only four people still reading Alexander And Me. So I think I'm going to stop writing it. I'll cancel the new twist and in place of that I'll write a final Part XV. I hope my new story “Green Eyes” will be more interesting to the general public. From now on, I'll shift my focus to that story since it's more popular, and therefore there are more people waiting for the next installment.

I wish you wouldn't stop writing this great story. You have close to 10,000 readers. As you know, many people do not post, but they read and enjoy the twists and turns. But the decision is yours to make. I, for one, will miss the adventure. I think it still has so much potential. Can we get you to reconsider?

I hope that you continue to write this story. I know I haven't made much post on your story but that doesn't mean I don't appreciately reading it. I rarely online now but JUB will be my first stop. It's my other half of my life in here, so please consider it again and continue writing it.

I'm considering writing a little more, but my other stories are first now. Maybe I'll post another chapter after I post the next installments of my other stories, but I'm not promising anything.
 
I've decided to CONTINUE with this one. In fact I'm working on the next installment. I'll try to post it as soon as possible.
