BITCH i'm super busy right now but I had to come by and celebrate with my gurls because I wasn't sure if this long overdue moment was gonna happen.

on the one hand, these awards mean nothing, the elite patting themselves on the back and totally inconsequential to the relevancy of the film industry... HOWEVER... this is a huge moment for Angela, for stories about people of color, and lest we not forget this is a win for a movie that had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it portrayal of black LGBT so definitely cause for some celebration.

I've already taken a few shots I need someone to roll this next joint for me.
