All My Children Kills Off "Babe"

It's so true. Babe has always been a train wreck. It will be interesting to see if AMC brings her right back or she comes back after failing in hollywood.

Bluedragon,
Ofcourse I read your post you handsome devil! I'm waiting for AMC to show her or give us a sign.

Blueboy369. ;)

Well, I'm obviously not on the same page as everyone else...#-o

To me "Babe" was a pig in an Australian Movie of the same name...:p

I just watched friday's episode and at the end she was in her hospital bed and opened her eyes. They always do something like that when it's that persons funeral. The actress who plays Babe's mom did very good with her acting.I don't know how these people cry. I can't even cry in real life!

I was so happy they showed her at the end. How they can do that to her poor mother I will never know.

Blueboy.

I know. The poor woman is pregnant. People sneeze on soaps and lose their babies let a lone deal with a fake death of your child. At least so far Crystal isn't grabbing her stomach and screaming that somethings wrong.

The state of all of the ABC shows isn't totally bleek.

"All My Children," at 37 years of age, is actually ABC's youngest soap and perhaps that, and the sharp drop in it's ratings (sometimes it's ranked the lowest of their 3 offerings), might be the reason they have been experimenting over the past year, aka:

Shaky camera editing, controversial storylines such as Erica's unabortion and the crossdresser falling in love with the opposite sex (hello?!?!? ), firing legendary stars, etc.

But I wouldn't want somebody to judge ABC's other dramas, "One Life To Live" and "General Hospital" on the almost impossible-to-watch "AMC"

"OLTL," although not as "A+" as it has been this decade (hi, 2002 when you won the Daytime Emmy!!!), the show does have some strong things going:

* Utilizing the over 40-vets such as Erika Slezak (Vicki), Jerry VerDorn (Clint) and Rob Strasser (Dorian) in a romantic triangle that might bleed into the summer teen territory. Even 80 year old Phil Carey (Asa) is getting some really decent screen time. And you must give kudos to 45 year old Kassie DePavia (Blair) for rockin' this show!!! :sex:

"General Hospital," ABC's Best TV Show next to "Lost" has really been on a roll over the past couple of years. Criticize them or love them for their explosive 'Stunt Months' (February, May, et al), I opt to love them for these huge, almost primetime-in-caliber story arcs.

There is a hostage crisis at the hospital right now and it's seriously on-the-edge-of-your-seats intensity as beloved favorites are hovering near death or having to chose which loved ones can and can not leave the kidnappers.

Plus, what show has all the legends (Luke Spencer, Bobbie Jones, Noah Drake, Robert Scorpio, Sonny Corinthos) as "GH"?!?! This is certainly one show I have no gripes about. :=D:

I saw that some of you were upset about Brooke's exit. I wanted to let yo all know Julia Barr is returning. I don't know if it's short term or recurring, but I do know she's coming back.

That's only a rumor as of now.

The news can be found at Soaps.com. I've copy and pasted exactly what it says.

Soaps.com has learned that Julia Barr, Brooke English, will return to the show in the spring of 2007. No word how long Ms. Barr will be back on the show, but we will keep researching to find out.

Soaps.com also reported that Eileen Davidson was returning to "Days of Our Lives" in the role of Kristen Blake. A day later, Soap Opera Digest confirmed that she had been hired by "The Bold & The Beautiful."

Soaps.com isn't entirely reliable.
