Wow, i find this interesting ... I've keep that statement in mind.
Do you think this is true ?

The interviewer suggested that it is "only natural" that "psychopaths rise to the top."

So, I can only surmise that you are aiming this at the mods and admins on JUB, no?

Tres obvious.

No way, too much work ... Any payment involved ?

Just trying to apply your theory. Your vid suggests the psychopaths rise to the top, showing politicians. Mods and admins have the power, so I was figuring you must be calling them psychopaths.

If it doesn't apply to JUB, why should we expect it to apply in the free world?

When are the Mods and admins are telling you "how to live your life" ?

^ thats what the "expert" in the video said, and i want to hear different views.

I am not the one who implied the mods were psychopaths; you did, Telly. It says so in your video. I find that implication appalling.

I too watched the video but didn't hear "implied the mods were psychopaths".
Only you implied that.

Dejavudoo, reasoning and deductive logic are not traits found in certain parts of Australia.

Sociopaths are the original alpha dogs. They are also why man is still the dominant species on earth. That is what some believe. Or maybe it is just because Dexter is likable.

<shrug>

Most national politicians are megalomaniacs, Not sure if that qualifies as sociopathic.

Sociopaths don't make the grade as a Hot Topic on JUB usually, barring Cupidboy's thread earlier this year.

Further evidence that it's the singer not the song. All topics from Bender/Cupid are inherently fascinating. ctisaat

i watched most that video and its not a revelation, but not having a conscience isn't always a bad thing and is part of human nature.

fiction writers often use robots and vulcans to achieve goals that regular 'feeling' humans cannot do, such as martyrdom or to win a war.

the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one, as spock said. data, an android, sacrifices himself to save his friends.

its in human nature to condition mostly men to do things without a second thought because its effective for survival.

people enjoy watching shows like dexter, like CSI, survivor, and only think that stuff happens on tv.

in relation to the video, humans are parasites. the vast majority of living creatures on earth are parasites, we all feed off the planet or others. not sure what that has to do with politicians as Obama, Clinton, Reagan have been extremely effective and popular executives in their own way, reducing poverty and fostering peace.

One could argue that Reagan and many republican presidents have done the opposite of fostering peace, as Reagan ended the cold war but took the knife out so quickly now Russia is a backsliding nuclear armed country.

George W Bush destabilized the entire Muslim world with his tyrannical war in Iraq but that is another topic.

Theoretically the evolution of a emotionally inclined man would have greater attributes, strength beauty intelligence height stamina empathy and also greater weaknesses like anger hate cruelty jealousy malice and addiction.

You can argue that everyone is susceptible to the same weakness, our own inability to comprehend our destiny as a species and our timid unwillingness to boldly embrace change.

This is exemplified during the healthcare debate pushed by liberals, when at its height in 2009 even a vast majority of republicans supported single payer healthcare.

What Americans got did not live up to the best of America, but confirmed our worst fears, we fear what we would become would be beyond our wildest dreams.

Megalomania is not really used clinically, but the casual definition is to have delusions of power, sometimes including omnipotence. As such, I would argue that most national politicians don't need delusions, as they actually do wield great power. Often, they miscalculate the limits of that power, but I'm not sure that qualifies as delusional.

While that is true, when they campaign for office they wield none of that power but have the same lofty opinion of themselves.
