Re: Dirty Buttholes
I think there's a BIG difference between a "dirty butthole" and a musky one. I don't think a guy's butthole is dirty just because it has some scent to it (and some of those scents will make you melt and some will make you run away...). I think of "dirty" buttholes as having some "matter" attached to it. Not a turn-on at all for me, but I sure like a musky-scented hole. I find when a guy's hole dries out, it's kinda like skunk: If the skunk just wandered by an area right before your arrival, it's like "GEEZ, GET ME AN OXYGEN MASK! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" But (no pun intended, but it fits!) if the skunk was there 12 hours ago, the scent can be tolerable. A guy's hole is like that, too: when it's drier, it's less acidic and more fragrant. But if it's moist, it's too acidic-smelling for me (for acidic-smelling, read: shitty). It's like pits: a nice medium-strong aroma is very arousing and I like butts at the same strength. On a 1-10 scale, the "clean it up first" guys are at 0-2. I'm more at 5-7 ("yeah, gimme some more of that stinky butt, man. You're driving me wild!") and the guys who are closer to scatplay will round it out at 8-10.
But the idea that ANY scent in the butt area turns a guy off automatically just makes me think some guys are missing out on part of the man-to-man experience, of just being a "guy". If a straight (or gay) guy you were hot for had some fumes back there and you weren't totally into scent, you could always tone it down SOME without killing off every last bit of scent. You don't think us guys who get off on smell (I like the way feet smell the most), just started at "10," do you? We started at curiosity (probably a 2 or 3 on the scale) and investigated. Once you've sniffed a hundred butts, you have enough experience to know that 1), not all guys smell foul back there: some smell unusually sexy, 2), it's a case by case basis. You get close enough to (discreetly) sniff the guy and see if it grosses you out from 6" away, and if it doesn't, you get closer. If it does, well....like I said, you can always get a guy to tone it down.
Interestingly enough, I think straight guys might enjoy a guy sniffing their ripe holes, because I can't imagine that many women who even like men's scents. The number of guys who have to shower every day or else "no sex" applies is probably overwhelming. And the straight guys have heard gay guys swallow, get into smell and to be with someone who likes the way you smell is a pretty intense erotic turn-on for many guys. Could be wrong about that, too.
