Hello, so with its first season officially started since last night, what are your thoughts on the AAF? Do you think it will prosper like the NFL or have the same fate as the original XFL?
 
They have a wealthy backer now and outdrew the NBA with their premier telecast.
I'm rooting for them.
The new owner is also majority owner of the NHL"s Carolina Hurricanes, who I will see this Thursday.
I almost certainly won't go to any AAF games. The cities aren't on my list. Arena football is local for me but I don't go.
 
I didn't think the AAF would survive, but I was stunned that it folded before the first season ended. I see the XFL is going to give it another try next year. Apparently these football and television "experts" don't learn any lessons from past failures.
