I don't think that you are. While differences can be considerable between people in their 30s and early 20s, everyone's levels of maturity are different. Besides, it's not as if there were a 20 year difference between the two of you. Now, that would be cradle-snatching... Even though, as long as everyone involved is an adult, I guess that people outside the relationship should keep their opinion to themselves.
 
No. If he were 18, and you were 60, the answer would still be, no. As long as you are both of legal age, and all is by mutual consent, I see no problem with the relationship.

FYI Lest you slept through Sex Ed class and/or have not yet personally had a nocturnal emission...A boy as young as 11 can be a "father."

So by your logic, any relationship where there is an eleven-plus year age difference would be "cradle-robbing" or a "cougar/cub" scenario! So much for age of majority, you puritans!
 
I wouldn't say a 9 year age difference is a big deal at all. Besides, you're both over 18 so you're not even doing anything illegal. People don't have to be exactly the same age to be in a relationship as that person told you. Discriminating against couples with a bit of an age gap is just like discriminating against gay, or interracial couples.
 
Are you that unsure of your relationship with this boyfriend of yours that you would ask us on this forum?
 
The last four guys I've been with have been 20-40 years older than I am and I wouldn't call them cradle robbers. We just happen to be each others' types, I suppose.

I think it is at 22 and 31. The OP has had almost 41% more days of life than the bf. Also, 31 and 22 are usually at quite different places in life. Not always, but most times. For example, the average 22yo is just out of college, the average 31 is almost 10 years into a career and may be past all the stuff which appealed to him at 22.
