Oh, don't get me wrong, I do feel FOR him and feel proud OF him.

Jo-Vanni Update

In the meantime, I've got Father Tony working in Fort Lauderdale to put together a support team for Jo-Vanni. As I'm sure you all realize, there may be some pretty nasty people out to get him in some way or another. We've got a connection to one of South Florida's sharpest LGBT legal minds, but want to also make sure he's getting good advice on handling the deluge of media inquiries. And of course, the kid just needs some good old social support. I believe he is getting the help he needs to get thorugh this. He gave an interview to blogger Joe.My.God and Joe says he's trying to set-up a support group.

I've also read rekers is considering suing, but I think that would be extremely damaging to him. I mean, suing a rentboy, trying to make money for his college tuition because he refused to keep quiet about any sort of sexual activities?

That basically would be him confessing he hired Jo-vanni for sexual massages. I pay for these services, you keep quiet. The very thing he is so keen to deny.

The contract jo-vanni signed agreeing to be a luggage boy (in more ways than one) is public. If he sues, he's basically shooting himself in the face.

If he wants to be vindicative and sue Jo-vanni for doing the right thing, that would make him look extremely bad. Did you see the interview on cnn? At the end Jo-vanni says he wants to be rekers friend even after all this because he was a nice person during Europe. Yeah, sue him with the money he collected from Florida taxpayers arguing against same sex couple adopting in court, when your hiring rent boys to lift your baggage and when you've got the homo desires that makes it so wrong to adopt, your adopting boys ...Real smart...

At least that's how I see things.

I feel sorry for the guy but this was inevitable. Being closeted to your family & friends but posing online as an escort, giving "erotic massages" to a staunch anti-gay closet case hellbent on banning both their rights, and then going to the media with the story? Your info will somehow find its way into the hands of the paparazzi no matter how hard you try. I hope he handles this well and doesn't receive any legal punishment.

I've heard two separate things. I've heard he was free to explore Europe for the most of the day, and I've heard rekers gave him a tour of Europe.
