You couldn't have known. He was from York and it was quite some time ago. He helped me quit smoking 16 years ago and 'disappeared' not too long after that.

I don't think any of us had any suspicions, but I seem to recall him convincing us that he was being wrongly accused.

He wasn't.
 
Joeslife was under scrutiny from day one.
