American Gladiators

Well the preliminary rounds are over: Once again both male contestants were quite cute, and both women were nice to look at, but I was going for the cop. I will never start harping on this and will start sending hate mail to NBC for this, but for God sakes cut some of the damn filler and show the cut events, also stop splitting up Rocket and Zen on the Wall. It is completely unfair to the contestant that gets one of them, either put them both on the Wall or put two other glads on the wall, just stop this unfair BS. Another event I'm not sure about is Rocket Ball, it has cool action and all but it really only involves luck and timing rather than any skill. Also I really wanted to see Hurricane on Pyramid and was pissed he wasn't shown.

On the Gladiators side: Panther really impressed on Power Ball while Steel kind of disappointed. The male glads seem to have Power Ball down and overall rock on it. While I'm sketchy on Rocket Ball it was nice to see Rocket on it, plus it seems like his Gladiator uniform shows off his ass quite nicely. Militia impressed on Earthquake plus he was very nice to the Marine. And last but certainly not least Crush, as always beautiful, sweet, and kick-ass. I love her.

personally i think it's getting harder and harder to keep watching this show. i've forgotten about the last 2 weeks in row. they'll show up sooner or later on MTV though....

my interest in the show has waned as well for some reason.

Same here, but I know why. It's because the prelimary rounds are way too long and without actual content. Too many gladiators, too many contestants but only a small amount of events. On top of that, they're telling us to watch the events online!!?!!? What an insult...

Anyway, I'm not invested in any contestants like last season, so that's why I have a feeling the show is going to get cancelled after this one unless someone up top proves to NBC a new format will work for the next one. I mean, 5 million viewers a week!!?! That's bad... even for summer television!

Okay... vent over.
