American Horror Story: Coven

We finally got to see Evan Peter's bare ass make an appearance this season.:gogirl:

I thought last night with Jessica Lange going through chemo was raw...really good stuff. This is why she has always been my favorite actress...she draws you in like no one else.

I'm loving this season. I'm really into the style and tone and the characters are great too. The only thing I'm finding confusing is that there don't seem to be any rules or guidelines about how magic works in this universe. The witches are able to do pretty much whatever they want (eg. bringing dead bodies back to life) and even at this point it's still quite unclear how any of their 'gifts' work (or in some cases, what their powers actually are). But maybe I'm just looking too hard at the details :)

I really like the acting on this series. I love the movie Precious, but does anyone else feel G. Siborney (sp?) is just a terrible actress in this show? Just wondering. She sticks out really in a bad way to me. Also it seems they have almost too many characters this season to keep up with them all!

I don't feel that she's terrible, but I do feel there's a deepening disconnect between characters at times, which makes it seem like the many characters they have aren't working well with the others.

I'm hoping that it turns around, but last nights' episode was the first that made me a little less entertained by the series.

^^^I have always felt that there is a distinct unevenness in his storytelling style and thanks to LOST...I am now suspicious a bit when I notice that because I don't like to get on a ride that just stops in the middle and never arrives at the destination.

The good thing though...he always pulls it together near the end.

I think he has too much talent on screen this year and it seems that his character development is a bit sketchy...maybe too much talent in the front of the house and a lack of talent behind the scenes?

As in the previous AHS seasons, the story is starting to meander. The characters are always fun to watch, but the story is all over the place and incoherent. The seasons always start out strong, and lose their way midway.

I read that Lange will be back for Season 4, but it will be her last time. She really needs a whole new character on the show, because she's basically played the same depressing, aging, smoking, drinking shrew in all the seasons. Ryan Murphy needs to be more creative with her.

This show is really good. I like everyone, but I think jessica lange is amazing.

I love all of the characters, so much bitchiness with class! I love Angela Bassett as the Voodoo Queen! Ahhh!!!!!!! Can't wait for the next episode (sadly only airing next week).

I can't believe nobody talked about this since November but that was shocking what the neighbor boy's religious mama did to him. She's more fucked up than the witches.

It is American Horror Story, after all. I've stopped letting myself be surprised. Although, this season has given me quite a few "jaw-to-floor" moments. This is my favorite season so far--I've always had a love for witches and I really like what he's doing with it. There aren't that many episodes left, though, so I wonder how it's going to end.

It's hard to talk about the show and what you think will happen based without ruining it for other people so i just let it go. I just stick to my podcast listening.

Yeah this week's episode was fun to watch. I'm digging the comedy relief this season has. And who'd ever thunk that Stevie Nicks was a witch?

Stevie is set to guest star on an episode in January I believe she said "In some form" I don't know what she meant by that but I am ready for what ever that means

Last nights episode was great. Loved seeing Marie/Angela with more to do than just a couple lines of dialogue.

Last night had some brilliant moments...but I think the writing so far this season has been uneven and it is hard to really get invested in the story.

Stevie Nicks should be a regular!

I loved the scene where Frances Conroy says "Don't be a hater."

It was like a me & Kien scene.
