American Idol - Mandisa was robbed

I was crying fat discrimination last night...

However, in retrospect, I think her Jesus schtick was getting a little old. She didn't win too many fans last week, imho, by singing a Mary Mary song.

I know I was tired of it.

Katherine McPhee seems much more phony than Ace (who is also phony) The two of them should be forced to breed and make pretty, talented, phony children who can form the Partridge Family for the new millennium.

I'm partial to Elliot, myself. He looks like a goblin, which just gives him a little flava.

Kelly Pickler gives me a vibe like back home in Alabamy (or wherever), she's the town bicycle, if you get my drift.
 
Ace, he actually can't sing. I predict the big three is, Kath McPhee, Kellie Picker and also my fave Eliott Yamin
 
Ace has gotten by on his looks this whole time and that isn't fair. This is a talent competetion. I am sick of his so called sultry looks into the camera after each song. His drag moves with his hair and scar from last week was over the top for me.


I cannot believe Bucky is still there. He is by far the least talented one there. He needs a good bath.

Has she ever stated she dislikes homosexuals?! Not that i've seen or heard, this is coming up because she stated that she likes a author who has stated that THEY are homophobic. That does not however make HER homophobic. Just because she say alot of religious songs, and stated her love of god several times does not make her homophobic. You know nothing of her, to place a label like that on her, without knowing the facts is very unfair, and closed-minded. [-X
 
she can take her jesus freek ass back to the bible belt & go eat more fried chicken, greens, hamhocks, whole cows, butter pie, pig guts & whatever unhealthy morsel she can fit in her god lovin' hole!

Well her favorite writer only writes book about gay people and that it's bad and they can change, she talks about lesbians especially. So with that, and her song last week, I'm pretty sure she is.

In a conference call with media, Mandisa herself weighed in on the many rumors circulating around her elimination. In regards to some of her comments being interpreted as homophobic, Mandisa explained “You know, I just heard about that recently and it broke my heart because I really do try to live my life according to the value system that you treat others the way that you want to be treated. And so I live my life guided by love and absolutely hate nobody.”

In regards to her “lifestyle” comment, Mandisa explained “You know, that song was a very personal testimony for me and I’ve been dealing with a food-related addiction for much, much of my life. And so that song was me proclaiming that there is nothing, there is no addiction. I’ve been living a lifestyle where I’ve been giving into every indulgence to food that I have had. And so that was just me saying that God is freeing me of it.”

In regards to if she was aware of some of Beth Moore’s views on gays, Mandisa claimed ignorance but stood steadfast in her admiration for Beth Moore, saying “…I was not aware. But I respect her so much, she has … into my life like no one else and so I have the utmost respect for her and she’s been an invaluable resource to me.”
 
Thanks for that. She was also interviewed in the Advocate, where she said she would not perform at any kind of gay function. She claimed to be pretty ignorant about the "gay lifestyle," but sidestepped most of the questions. Google the article and read it for yourself. Yes, it's clear she's anti-gay.

I felt that the contestants this year were pushing the religious agenda more then ever & I chose not to support any contestant that expressed this personal-I-don't-need-to-know subject. This heifer spouted out more religious propaganda then George W. I am so glad I don't have to fill up my WHOLE entire 50" wide screen HDTV with her homophobic hippo ass!!

Someone should take her out to pasture, among other things.
 
People it's very simple... it happens every season. People who are obviously better singers get voted off because they're obviously better singers. People don't bother to call because there's the assumption that they're safe, fans of the worst singers call in again and again because they know their person is in danger. It ain't rocket science. It's an obvious pattern that repeats itself every year.
 
Not to go off topic but I'm impressed by Georgiaboy's avatar...when did George Clooney ever look that good?
 
To get back on topic...most of those who vote are teenage girls...why is anyone ever surprised that 1) the goodlooking girls get voted off first 2)the ugly girls go next 3)then the ugly guys go after...unless the judges shame the 12 yr olds who do most of the voting, it will be Ace, Chris and Paris as the final three and Ace will win.
 
She did say on the Today Show, I believe it was, that she was very religious and that Gay Marriage is wrong, and homosexuality in general is not the way of the Bible.

Don't quote me on that, but it was along those lines.
