American Idol: Season 10

Oh, okay, so now suddenly one idiot in the comments section (which anybody can post in) is reflective of the entire site as a whole. The only "insult" that the SITE posted is that James was a messed up kid and, if he did used to do the things that magazine says, he WAS a messed up kid.

Have you been in their cloud of delusion too long?

Every contestant on this show has been insulted over there. It is what VFTW does now. This was mentioned last week by more than just me.

You expect me to believe they haven't been insulting because of ONE post where it was a worster and not the one who posted it? Give me a break.

VFTW is a shell of what it once was.

On topic of tonight's performances: Scotty proves once again he knows how to win this competition. He sticks to his strengths and picks a song that puts him in an excellent position.

Lauren does so as well, picking a great song for her voice in her genre and doing very well with it.

Though, I'm not sure what I think of that dress thing she's in.

Jennifer thinks she and the judges may seem tough at times. I'm trying to figure out what she means by that.

The advice given by Lady Gaga helps Haley up her game IMMENSELY.

Her performance is grand, her vocals are on, and she puts herself up as a true contender!

Haley was phenomenal tonight. I love her tone so much and she nailed the drama of the 2nd song. I almost wish she pulled her hairdown for added drama.

GaGa is so effing cute.

And I already don't like this Cabbage Patch Kids looking mess. Next.

Lady Gaga's advice had me rolling in the floor with laughter!

Scotty went to an amusing, fun song. I actually agree with Randy's "Both sides of a Scotty concert" comment.

A lot of people probably didn't like it, but he's proven what he can do. He's showing more levels of himself. That is likely to help him more.

Steven's comment: You made Gaga's 'yaya' go 'lala'.

Lauren also benefits from Gaga's advice and does well.

It is great how, so far, Gaga has been better with advice with each of these contestants than anyone has all season.

And James closes the show in a most impressive way after Lady Gaga goes 4/4 on advice.

I loved so much seeing her mentor them. She was right on, she helped them all greatly, and was a joy to watch as she did so.

Haley was just effing great in both her songs. Miss Piggy can't be evil or sing "Evil" either. Gaga was great and gave great advice. Those two country songs by the lobo twins were aimed at the tear ducts and got to the anal glands faster than a hot shot of exlax. Scotty was funny honey, and way off the money on Love Potion. James was great as the opener and not so great on the closer.

And here we go. James starts off the show quite well, and I couldn't help but notice how he has improved over the season despite the judges' complete inability to provide constructive criticism.

They all love it, Randy fires off some name dropping.

Also: VFTW has already started the insults on James based on a story in a tabloid.

Haley picks a song that just doesn't fit her and comes off very rough. It doesn't showcase her the way she needs and when Randy tries to explain what went wrong, Haley talks back.

She sings well, for what she has, but it simply did not suit her voice and now really isn't the time for that to happen. This wasn't her best song choice.

Steve, naturally, says the others are wrong and she was great.

I so totally agree with Steven and not with you, Jennifer or Randy. She ripped a new glory hole in that fiirst song and went even deeper and more wonderful for her second song.

I only saw Lauren's second performance. Her fashion consultant this week was clearly the wardrobe director on Golden Girls since she was dressed up like Blanche Devereaux.

I am so over these judges piling on Haley and letting Miss Piggy and Kermit skate by. And James was just bad tonight and got rave reviews from them. Ugh. Even Haley is over it as evidenced by her backtalk during Randy and J Lo's nasty feedback of her first performance.

And in case you didn't get the hint, they trotted all four out so Randy could say, "Round one is a tie between Scotty, James and Lauren." WTF?? Even Haley mouthed, "Thanks" sarcastically. She is so over their BS and so am I. When she's eliminated tomorrow, I won't be watching the rest of the season.

I think one of the girls will go home tomorrow night. And I think the other girl will go next week leaving James and Scotty to battle it out in the finale. But I hope I'm wrong because I personally love Haley and hope she makes top 2.

Haley was good tonight, but she didn't do herself any favors with all those stinky bitch-faces and hateful glares at the judges. Voters tend to frown on contestants with that much attitude.

Haley is far and away the best left...she's fantastic. I feel so bad for her standing up there getting shit just thrown at her. Honestly I don't know if I was her if I would have stuck around, I prob would have just tossed the mic down and walked off.

Though "The Earth Song" wasn't her best performance, it was still far and above better than James' opening performance of "Don't Stop Believing". I can't believe they wouldn't pan someone for picking like the most karaoke song of the century...if Simon was there he would have said something. He was sharp and pitchy all over that song.

Scottie and Lauren both went with the schmaltzy country/Jesus songs...I think Lauren came out on top of the 2 cause at least I knew that song, I had never heard that Alan Jackson "I <3 Jesus" song.

Scottie, Lauren and James' 2nd songs were all pure cheese as well....James being a bit better than the other two. I couldn't watch Scottie with those weird eyes and pelvic thrusting.

In all honesty...normally I feel when contestants in the past have given attitude it's been sort of rude and not really warranted because they actually were giving critiques regularly...and people just thought it would be fun to talk back to Simon.

I actually salute Haley for giving a little attitude back, she deserves to. Those judges/evil producer HATE her and have been throwing her under a bus, and backing up over her repeatedly.

I wouldn't be surprised to see James go home tomorrow. Lauren being in the bottom two last week scared her fans into action and Haley has been gaining momentum for weeks, plus she gave the best performance of the night tonight. I could totally see James getting lost in the mix and going home tomorrow.

James got the pimp spot and is probably the frontrunner while Haley was stuck in the middle of the show and casual fans don't like backtack. I would be extremely surprised if he went over her to say the least.

I'd love to vote for her again if she sticks around, though, as the phone lines have been shit all night for me and I've had hardly any votes for her get through.
