I agree, but she has definitely been diva-ing it up during the auditions. Though, she is a quiet diva, but it's definitely there. And yeah, as much as I dislike her music, Nicki's criticism is on par with some of the things vet's should be saying.

Something about him really turns me on. He's a cutie, and I'm normally not attracted to the "adorable" kind.
 
I thought it was amusing that the member of Lazaro's group who whined and moaned about having to help "that foreigner" (I think he implied) was cut. hee hee

But it's kind of insane that the pretty-boys get through while those with genuinely powerful voices like Micah Johnson get dumped.

Why is slipintothefog not here touting "the producers want a female winner!" conspiracy theories? Because hell, they're even more obvious this season!

What are the odds they can convince tweens and cougars that Kez Ban is a dude so she ends up winning with the WGWG voting bloc?
 
And just like that, the judges booted Kez Ban and Adam Gayface, thereby eliminating all my rooting interests in one fell swoop.

The simple answer is that I've been behind all season. ;) The producers probably wish they could just make the entire top 12 female. But then the winner would probably just go "surprise!" and whip out her dick after being crowned the winner. (It's kind of annoying that they group Jada in with the guys, by the way, but that's Idol for you.)
 
So which one of the girls do you think is Nigel's early pimp, slip? Angela Miller?

And is Johnny Keyser just too frat-scary to get the tween/cougar vote? Cuz otherwise his inclusion seems counter to the producers' purpose. His eyes do kinda say Date-Rapist Jock in Cruel Intentions 5.

For sure. I've been barely paying attention to the contestants this season (since Nicki Minaj is a spotlight stealing ho <3), but I did notice how Randy made sure to say "Wow. Wow. Wow!" approximately six hundred times while that girl was singing her original song in the last episode.
 
Just saw a few of the early performances tonight but it's clear that Nicki is the new Simon and Mariah is the new Paula.
 
Okay, so I'm confused; the other 10 are performing next week or are they already confirmed to be safe?

Yeah they really didn't explain it well, but I think they're doing 10 girls and 10 guys this week (and eliminating half of each) and then the same thing next week (which is when Lazarro and Candice should be performing). That will leave us with 10 guys and 10 girls in total which...not sure what they're going to do from there since the most they've ever done for the Big Stage portion was...what 13 contestants?
 
Yeah, I just saw the commercial where he (Lazaro) is performing next week. Thursday more than likely.
 
LOL could they make it any more obvious that they want a girl to win? They basically stacked the guys with sub-par singers and tonight they eliminated anyone who could potentially get the swoon vote (Johnny Keyser) while keeping guys who are forgettable enough to be eliminated before any of the girls. I think their one miscalculation though is Charlie, who I can't stand but who is sure to be a VFTW magnet which will keep him around longer than they anticipate.
 
Tonight with the guys was one of the strangest Idol shows ever. And they take that Latin Bieber over guys that are far more talented just because Nicki wants to have his babies. And obviously a performer who is just like the one like him last season, the gospel singer. And Charlie who was vocally all over the place makes it and Jda didn't who gave a vocal performance and a stage show that was just great. WTF? Are they that hard up for a female winner?
 
Jda had more stage presence than the majority of the singers tonight. At least we know they aren't going the X-Factor route. But if they really wanted a girl to win, they shoulda kept him.

They are going to end up with the Latin Bieber, Elijah and the gospel singer and Bieber will win.

I want Lazaro to win so bad.
