'American Idol' Season 13

Re: American Idol

Yeah once Simon left, the show got pretty lame.. in my opinion.

Re: American Idol

Somebody said someone performed "Change" this week -can anybody confirm that?

Re: American Idol

i think that american idol is getting to the point of beating a dead horse... you can almost use the same cruise ship analogy that simon used on a contestant once. they really should just pull the plug already.

Re: American Idol

They're not showing many of the really bad auditions. Those were my favorite. Oh well...

I've only ever enjoyed watching the comically disastrous auditions...that's American Idol for me right there. ;)

Re: American Idol

They bored the crap out of me after the season with Melinda...haven't watched in a long time now. I even stopped watching The Voice this past year...too many country singers for me....

Re: American Idol

This show pass their season. Im not watching it.

Yeah I usually stop watching after the auditions. "American Idol returned Wednesday night to once again post its lowest premiere rating ever." 16 Million...not too many show can get double digits. So I think that AI will keep going until they get down to single digits.

I thought they had some nice talent the first show and I have already seen a couple tonight. I think Harry is entertaining and JLo and Keith are sleep walking. There is some bro-mancing with Harry and Keith.

Glad they finally got rid of Randy the human barnacle and Harry may have potential as an actual judge, but I still have no idea why they brought back J-Lo, who I STILL haven't forgiven for constantly undermining the most awesome contestant of all time. #haleyreinhart4ever

I find that this week's choices from the Auditions are quite lame, and hope there are better choices of Talents next week's auditions.

Actually I am finding a lot more congeniality from the three judges. They all seem to get along, and Harry is great at letting people know they are not great without all the pitchy talk. Last night a kid by the name of Ryan Nesbitt performed and I loved how he looked, how he sang and his presence. Very different looking, very cute and very aware. he made it through. I will be looking out for him.

Harry is funny but there are moments when he is being too obnoxious. Keith is just ego-less.

This.

Keith seems to try too hard to get Harry to be on his good side. He changed some of his opinions because Harry didn't like the contestant.

Yeah noticed that as well...Harry is funny but he is becoming overbearing and obnoxious.

I watched the premiere... saw Harry trying way too hard to be the bad guy(he was almost reaching the point of being a snotty rich equestrian player in a school with "low-class" basketball players)... thought, eh, I'm not missing much, and haven't tuned in since.

With a fresh round of auditions in Detroit, "American Idol" was again the top-rated show on the major networks Wednesday night and gave Fox a comfortable win, though as expected it fell from last week's premiere.

The Motor City visit, kicking off the second week of the show's 13th season, drew 13.2-million viewers on average, down 12% in total viewers from the season opener, according to preliminary figures from Nielsen. Among the advertiser-desired 18-to-49 age group, "Idol" earned a rating of 4.0, down 13% week to week; however, the number is a slight improvement on last Thursday night's episode.

I'm just pleasantly surprised/relieved that America and the judges both rejected Spencer Lloyd. Even if that just guarantees Sam Wolf the victory.

Now where's my buddy slip to help me root for Jessica Meuse who J-Lo clearly wants to sandbag like she did to poor Haley Reinhart?
