This pic is the best thing that happened to him. He wasn't gonna win anyway so he will probably get some porn calls.
 
I agree that he's hot as fuck, but I felt bad for Alex being sent home. He was clearly the better singer.

I thought that Asian guy who 'tried' to sing jazz should have been one of the casualties.

Umm.. Alex didn't get sent home. Joe and Tyler did.
 
Well when he loses on AI and has to leave Hollywood, I'm sure that West Hollywood has a place for him.
 
If he can find an excuse (or way) to take his shirt off during his AI performances he might actually have a chance at making the final 12 ... as is I doubt that his voice is going to get him there.
 
Ironically the Associated Press said that Alex was eliminated and didn't correct it for about 12 hours. Wonder what was up with that? Not that I think Idol is fixed or anything but strange things do seem to happen during the voting. And they never release actual vote count (or placement) for each contestant which I think would make things way more interesting.
