Tyranny describes a one leader political system with rule by force.
I thought the USA fighting for freedom from tyranny was commonly recognised.

Liberty and freedom recognize the right to choose leaders by voting.
So any time a soldier is truly fighting for our freedom they are fighting for all of our freedoms, voting being one of these freedoms.

I personally get a little weary of our government saying that every conflict that we send our troops into is for our freedom. The flag waving to justify a war gets old. Iraq being a prime example. Make no mistake, I support our troops and appreciate their service, that doesn't mean that I think our government should have gotten involved.
