I heard this on the radio today...

Nevermind he isn't American.

Nevermind he reads the answers to Jeopardy off a monitor.

(Only in America.)

He tried one of his accents the other night. It started out one accent and slid into another about 1/3 of the way through. He reverted to normal English for the end.

according to IMDb Trebek became a US citizen in 1998...wouldn't that now make him an American?

eh...whatever...who knows what the other options were and who did the voting. I know I didn't. Surveys like that are usually unreliable anyway.

Actually, Alex Trebek became an American in 1998. So, unless that poll was taken before 1998...

I've never heard of him.

Alex is the host of Jeopardy!:

He got his start on Canadian game shows. This is him from a game called High Rollers:

I always disliked how he always feels the need to show everyone he can speak French. Nearly every show there is conveniently at least one question with French in it. And if a contestant mispronounces it or says it with the wrong accent, Alex always has to repeat the word in his ever so perfect French. Ok, we get it, like many Canadians, you speak French
