americans voted for socialism when voting for Obama

Say what? You're the same person that blames the younger folks for not passing gay marriage equality even though they're the only demographic to vote in equality.

You're also the same person that thinks retirement makes people prejudiced.

Mystikal is making himself look silly?

I know, right?

I am "making myself look silly" for pointing out an obvious immature, troll response to my comments.

Whatever.

Having grown in days of Joe McCarthy and his parnoid attacks on Communism by the use of fear.

Today those who oppose Obama and his policies are clones of McCarty again making use of fear to attack.

Back in the days of the New Deal the Republicans opposed Social Security as being form of Socialism? Are those Republicans today sending back there SS checks each month?

In the 1960's they opposed Medicare are Republicans refusing to use there Medicare?

Fear is part of the GOP they use in elections to avoid the issues. Remember 2004/06 with Karl Rove and the gay marriage issue. They used this to avoid the issue of the war.

Why does supporting Obama seem to require so much ignorance? Or is it dishonesty?

A lot of Republicans voted for both Social Security and Medicare.

The final version of the Social Security bill passed in the House 372-33, with 81 Republicans voting yes. The following day, the Senate passed the bill 77-6, with 16 Republicans voting for it.

The final Medicare bill passed the House 307-116 with 70 Republicans supporting it. Next day, the Senate adopted the final version of the bill by a vote of 70-24 with 13 Republicans voting yes.

Like everything else posted by our resident 3 hysterical conservatives, it has to be severely edited to say what they want it to say.

Now that it's edited properly to only include the words needed, he'll haul that out as "proof" that Obama is a socialist.

See how that works?

Like everything else posted by JasunStrikesBack, it has to be severely misinterpreted to say what he wants it to say.

Now that it's properly spun to mean what he needs, he'll haul that out as "proof" that these conservatives are hysterical.

See how that works?

Can't stop lying, huh?

The problem is that your younger demographic didn't vote -- they mostly sat on their asses and didn't give a hoot. Statistically, as measured by going to the polls, the younger demographic doesn't care in the least about gay rights, and aren't willing to do a thing for it.

You're also the same person that thinks retirement makes people prejudiced.

Mystikal is making himself look silly?

So are you, by continuing to lie when you've been called on it and told what it was.

Propaganda? Maybe not, Rachel Maddow JUST REPORTED that SARAH PALIN is encouraging GUN VIOLENCE NOW

March 23rd

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/

Note on courtesy: it's customary, when a vid is long, to tell people where in the segment the important material is found. That's especially important when the part of interest is, as in this case, a very brief piece of the whole.

Note on substance: You err -- Maddow did NOT report that Sarah Palin is encouraging gun violence. Palin's words could possibly be interpreted that way, but Maddow made no such assertion. Nor would I expect her to; she's far more professional than that, which is one reason I generally enjoy her bits.

(Slightly off topic) She's got the best show on TV, doesn't she? Contrary to JUBber's opinions, she'll flay a Democrat if she has to; she's no partisan hack.

Hey, Kulin, did you see last night's show? She had to interview herself—in a way. Well, actually, her executive producer had to interview her on her own show.

She was so overcome with mirth that her head dropped to the table.

Back to the topic...

I don't know about the best, but I can listen to her for an hour and can't listen to Beck more than about three seconds -- you know, the moment when he opens his mouth.

Stinker, if you're gonna mention shows, give a link! I have no TV....

PRESIDENT OBAMA: "Now, what we’re doing, I want to be clear, we’re not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money."

see video here

So... what point would he put that at? Ten times the president's salary? A net worth of a billion?

Bill Gates might agree with that one; he's said that after the first billion, it really doesn't make much difference. :D

kul, i saw on a blog today he said that 'off script' and his handlers cringed

i'm not so sure about the cringe but it was not on the teleprompter

Some presidents get away with "off script" comments. JFK did, I'm not certain if LBJ even had a script, Reagan managed it, Carter did some....

I don't know what else Obama has said "off script", so I won't pass a total judgment, but this one wasn't too bright.

^ The denial is getting old and only hurts him. Everything from the White House seems to be coming from under a cloak and sprung upon the American People only at the last minute. The style is getting old and making Americans very uneasy.
