Could it be the lube?
I guess it could be. I woke up this morning and it still itched horribly. I had been using axe body wash for my showers so I'm thinking maybe that is irritating it also because sometimes it irritates other sensitive areas such a arm pits and such. I also should mention I forgot to shower when I got home that night so that could have caused irritation from not cleaning afterwards...I feel gross because of that. Usually I shower but I was so tired (final exam week). Anyway, I hope it stops itching soon because it's so irritating.
I got some cortisone cream..the like maximum strength stuff with aloe and vitamins. And it says on the back it's used for anal itching so that's good.
It does still hurt though. It's beginning to concern me a little bit but I guess I just have to give it time to heal. I looked at it in the mirror and it's just very very red. Doesn't look like a rash or anything..just looks irritated.

Ok so we're on day four and feeling just a little better. But just a little. It's not as itchy but it comes and goes. Also it hurts like HELL to go to the restroom. So I mean, ugh. I'm gonna give it another week and if it's not better then I'm gonna go to the doctor. But from what you guys have said it should be fine by then. I hope.

since you're not normally one who bottoms, it could be an anal tear or fissure. i'd google some info on that so you can learn about it and see if your symptoms match up and such.
I googled it and it actually does sound like a tear or fissure. I guess the good thing is I don't feel pain anywhere deep deep inside. I researched a lot and most of it said this isn't serious and should heal completely in 2 to 3 weeks if it isn't a major fissure. But nothing really said about how long it would take for pain to stop?
