According to the Moms for Liberty (aka Proud Boys with Vaginas), drag queens are the equivalent of military recruiters (only with better taste in clothing and not operating out of a small-town storefront next to the Hobby Lobby). They're not in it for the sex, they just want to ensure there's a Hedda Lettuce, Penny Traition and Helluva Bottom Carter to carry the tuck forward to a new generation.

I don't know that I agree with "90%". The issue is that you can believe most of what you hear on cable news before around 6PM Eastern Time. After that, it gets more "opinion-y" and less based in fact.

BTW - Photoshop didn't hit software retailer's shelves until 1990 :rotflmao: Admittedly, there was a lot one could do in a darkroom with an enlarger, and a skilled photographer who knew how to manipulate it's bellows; but, nothing like what one can do on a computer

And I just don't get it...what is the enduring conspiracy that it was faked? Since then, we've seen the Space Station in orbit for decades and other lunar landing vehicles.

What are the conspiracy theorists so afraid of? That scientists were able to figure out the mechanics of landing on a nearby planet, given all the money in the world?

Similarly...what is the actual moral authority gained by decalring the earth flat?

It gains the beleivers nothing.

Their oppositional position changes nothing. Not the relationship between them and cosmos or their relationship with the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

There's some interesting research about conspiracy theories. They seem to increase when people feel uncertain or when there's been a recent crisis. There's evidence going back thousands of years to the point where there's a written record.

The moon landing happened in the late 60s which was a time of great societal turmoil. There is a group of people who cannot process things that require faith in things they don't understand. It seems the perfect solution to create a conspiracy theory that negates the event that they cannot believe happened.
 
So the recently indicted FBI informant now admits he got false intel on Hunter Biden and his father from—you guessed it—Rzzzn intel officials, then gave it to the Republicons, who then based their entire impeachment enquiry on this info.

The Kremlin wants their Manchurian candidate Trump in the Oval Office next year.

Cheney has warned of the Kremlin Wing in the GOP... the party is increasingly an instrument of the Kremlin in spite of the pushback since 2016.
