Though India is still counting the votes in its general election, one unexpected trend is emerging: Modi's party is projected to lose its majority in Parliament. That's a big blow to Modi, whose party was long expected to win a full majority.
Now he'll have to gather enough allies to form a government.
The BJP's main opposition party, the Indian National Congress, performed better than expected, according to preliminary results...
Because the religious have a God given right to dictate what you do with your dick. How could allowing contraception violate anyone’s religious liberty?
I just don’t see how that’s logically possible.
Because of Pope Paul VI's Humanae vitae of 1968 which states that contraception is "intrinsically evil". Add Orthodox's Judaism's belief that nothing is permitted to "interfere with sperm" and you have a significant number of Americans who believe that their rights to "religion" is superior to your need for contraception. After all, contraception isn't mentioned in the Constitution. How could allowing contraception violate anyone’s religious liberty?

WASHINGTON — A federal judge on Thursday ordered former Trump adviser Steve Bannon to report to prison on July 1 to begin a four-month prison sentence for defying subpoenas from the Jan. 6 Committee after a higher court rejected his appeal..
As long as you can practice your religion as you see fit you have religious liberty by definition, it matters not what your neighbor does.Because of Pope Paul VI's Humanae vitae of 1968 which states that contraception is "intrinsically evil". There are a large number of religiously-affiliated healthcare organizations who have purchased physician practices and urgent care clinics. They will fight to the end to not supply contraceptives of any form to their patients. If the Congress passes a law saying that Americans have a right to contraception, the Catholic Church will immediately file a lawsuit asking the 6 Catholic (yes, 6) of the 9 Supreme Court justices to declare it unconstitutional because it violates their right to believe whatever medieval dogma they label "religion".

And I’m not even sure the Catholic Church would have standing to sue since whatever harm might befall them is already occurring since the majority of Catholics use contraception.
I don’t believe the church would have the appetite for such a battle that would only antagonize the majority of their flock and run the risk of further reducing church attendance. They may be against it but they sure do keep quiet about it.

Supreme Court justices have received nearly $5 million in gifts since the early 2000s, and one justice in particular, Justice Clarence Thomas, accounts for nearly all of it...
According to the data compiled by Fix the Court, since 2004, Thomas has accepted $4,042,286, or 193 gifts. The group reported that, for Thomas, there’s an additional 126 “likely but not confirmed gifts.”

The state's GOP recently sent out a campaign email that referred to LGBTQ+ people as "barbaric," "creeps," “degenerates,” "godless," "groomers," "predators," “radicals,” and “reprobates." The message also linked to a sermon from Pastor Mark Driscoll, which proclaimed in the video thumbnail "God hates flags," wordplay on a popular conservative slogan that uses a derogatory slur.
"The month of June has arrived and, once again, the godless groomers in our society want to attack what is decent, holy, and righteous so they can ultimately harm our children," the email stated, via Denver journalist Kyle Clark.

So you’re telling me that people who are willing to violate someone else’s religious liberty are the ones I should be listening to on the subject of religious liberty? I don’t think that works logically either. You might want to read up on Dominionism.

Anyone can file a lawsuit but you must have standing for it to proceed so how specifically is the Catholic Church harmed if Fred uses a condom whilst banging Ethel?Yeah, no evangelical that I've ever heard of push religious tolerance,
Literally, anyone at all can file a lawsuit for any reason, and f your judge is Alito, it matters not at all, fuck standing, jurisdiction, precedent, code, the fucking Constitution, and Sharia law is perfectly legal.
