And Let's not forget about the other Deplorables

Hoffman pled guilty to two felonies, while ten others were dropped. Prosecutors asked for prison time for Hoffman, arguing it would send a “clear message” about the severity of the crimes.

Judge Torgerson directed that Hoffman would serve no additional time behind bars beyond the four months served — and pay no fine. Instead, Hoffman was given suspended prison sentences, placed on probation for four years. and must egister as a sex offender.

During the hearing, the judge referred to the time Hoffman had already spent in jail, saying that “112 days is a lot of jail time... It’s a lot of jail time for someone your age who comes from some level of privilege. We can be pretty certain that the pics were all of females...because if he was a homo, I'll bet he would have been made a poster child for his crimes.

I'll bet we can also count on seeing the judge brought up on charges in the future.

A 14 year old... just like Epstein and friends!

A Chico pastor has pleaded guilty to child molestation charges.

Roger Scalice, 75, appeared in Butte County Superior Court on Thursday where he pleaded guilty to molesting a minor under 14-years-old. Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey said Scalice’s charges stem from October, after the Chico Police Department received a report that Scalice had inappropriately touched a minor child with whom he had access for over a year.

Authorities say during the investigation, Scalice admitted to the conduct and was arrested at his home in Chico on October 27.

Ramsey said that because of the conduct’s nature and the prolonged abuse, Scalice was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child.

Milo versus Bunny Johnson...

"As if there wasn’t enough internal conflict in MAGA world right now, a huge feud just exploded between two very prominent right-wing influencers. Speaking on right-wing commentor Tim Pool’s podcast, Milo Yiannopolous — who is openly gay — said that "Benny Johnson posts pictures of his children every two days, it’s weird. And everybody knows what went on with Benny Johnson in those lobbies and in those hotel rooms at SAS," referring to Turning Point USA’s annual Student Action Summit. "Everybody knows.”

Johnson has threatened to sue. Milo says he has the receipts.

And justice will still not be done. Of course the award is being appealed and this will likely take years to crawl through the courts.

I see that someone thinks this is a warning to municipalities of the possible consequences of co-operating with ICE, but I don't think it is at all. If it is the feds that delay the release, then the municipalities will nt end up paying and the likelihood is that Homeland Security is just going to make this disappear into a black hole.

Today in "stopped clocks being right twice a day"...

Nancy Mace wrote a NYTimes editorial trashing Mike Johnson and Republicans in Congress... and talking about what an effective Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was.

Nancy Mace: What’s the Point of Congress?

I came to Congress five years ago believing I could make a difference for my constituents, for South Carolina and for a country I love deeply. I was the first woman to graduate from the Citadel’s Corps of Cadets. I don’t scare easily.

But I’ve learned that the system in the House promotes control by party leaders over accountability and achievement. No one can be held responsible for inaction, so far too little gets done. The obstacles to achieving almost anything are enough to make any member who came to Washington with noble intentions ask: Why am I even here?

The House’s problems didn’t start with this Congress. They’ve been building for decades. The current leadership has failed to reverse it — and in some ways deepened
