I am not going to judge the husband for his secret obsession and I'm sad that he has not only been publicly cuckholded for months now while his wife openly shacks up with her boyfriend in taxpayer funded sheltered housing while she cosplayed...oh wait...I suspect that she wasn't fucking blindsided at all...I would suggest that this has been a huge part of her married sexual life and that she happily participated in this kink with her husband.
I'm going to judge.
This entire group of people are exactly the "do as I say, not as I do" example of the moral rot in MAGA and in their evangelical backers. Kristi Noem has imprisoned families and has kidnapped parents who were financially supporting families. Noem targeted trans employees in DHS. From her days as the governor of South Dakota, she's promoted herself as a family-oriented Christian, citing her faith repeatedly in interviews.
The truth is that she is a largely performative, amoral puppet who has been fucking a married man who was her employee. Meanwhile her husband likes to dress up in women's clothing, and her husband paid over $25,000 to sex workers. If you look in the dictionary under "hypocrisy", you'll find ICE Barbie's picture.
I also wonder if her boss caught wind that this was going to break and it was one of the reasons that he wanted her removed because of the firestorm of publicity around the puppy murdering ICE Barbie blowing back on the rest of cabinet and himself.
Anytime a story likes this happens, I am reminded of the story from Joe Scarborough and Mike Brezinski. In the first Trump term, Joe and Mika had been criticizing Trump heavily on their program. One day, Jared Kushner calls them and says, "The tabloids are about to publish a story that you have been cheating on your spouses and that you are having an affair. The President can kill that story for you."
Instead of responding to the blackmail, Joe and Mika came back from their vacation early and announced on their show that they were engaged and would be getting married.
During the New York trial, we heard testimony from David Packer and Stormy Daniels that detailed how Trump and the National Enquirer used each other to publish stories that Trump wanted published and to kill stories that Trump didn't want published.
The Bryon Noem story is likely to have been on the White House radar for a while. Was it used to blackmail Noem into running DHS and ICE like Stephen Miller wanted? We may never know. But given how Trump-friendly the Daily Mail has been, the Bryon Noem story is unlikely to have been published without Trump's blessing.
