It's not like he can just go back to his safe seat in the House anymore. With poor delusional Madison in it it's certainly not safe anymore in 22"! Mark has to keep the grift going now that he had sold his soul to the orange devil. Anything to keep the Boss happy! Can't let the pillow guy get all that sweet sweet press about the "reinstatement" in two weeks, gotta piss off the libs and get clicks and comments. All the while the senators ignored Trumps threats and shouts about helping to pass almost 4 trillion in new infrastructure. Joey bear has a grand stategery and hopefully soon we will see the passing the voting rights bills. Maybe they can have the next meeting in front of The Justice Department, because that went so well for them on Wednesday.
 
I also think a lot of this is purely about the grift at this point.

TrumpCo. raised 82 million through the PACS in the first part of this year....and Trump is pretty much hanging on to the cash. People like Meadows know a sweet payday and as long as they can keep this illusion going of Trump being 're-instated' as President, the hicks, including Mike Lindell will continue to keep the moola rolling in.

Meadows can always point to the long term use of 'cabinet' as a time honoured way to describe campaign organization top leadership...which is very common, but it is just suggestive enough to reinforce the delusion in this case.
 
At this point it's all about keeping enough of the White folk just angry enough to keep sending in that sweet sweet green! He may lose his business, and perhaps his freedom, or at the very least one of his idiot sons surely will. But none of that matters as long as he can keep fleecing the marks!
